Recent Work
The start of 2025 saw me filming HE KILLS AT NIGHT as farmer Donald in the snow above Holmfirth for Tom and James, the Pickering Brothers. The film was premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in August as part of the Frightfest Festival and is now available to rent on Amazon Prime.
In November I directed the stage version of the Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life for my hometown drama group Dronfield Players. I then returned to the cobbles of Coronation Street for the sixth year as Bishop Greg Townsend in the lower two scenes below.

Goodnight Mr Tom by David Wood.
After many years, my farewell appearance for Sheffield Tudor Players
Adapted from the novel by Michelle Magorian
The main focus of the play is the relationship between Tom (Roger Bingham) and William (Pierce Fitzgerald), which was so beautifully acted and felt incredibly natural, full of deep love and devotion, perfectly capturing the emotions and characteristics of their characters that fans of the book will instantly recognise. The other great love of Tom's life is his dead wife Rachel and his reminisces of her were performed with genuine grief leading you to believe that she is deep within his heart.

See How They Run
In March 2023, I was delighted to direct Dronfield Players 80th anniversary production of the classic farce 'See How They Run' by Philip King. My early years on stage were with my hometown group and it was a great honour to direct and play the Bishop of Lax.
